The Holistic Approach to Business
Throughout school, we were exposed to many different informational values. We have all worked in a company where we were told about the importance of high company morale. As a person, I grow and change over the course of time. What do these things have in common, you wonder..? Simply put, a holistic approach to education, work atmosphere, and the individual creates a unique balance between having an enjoyable life and maintaining a stimulating career.
The educational process has been taken to a new level. I have never known a company to start every trainee, no matter their skill or experience, at the same level for more than just to teach a program. Currently, I am re-familiarizing myself with a software program and learning a new way to look at life. I am realizing that the ability to train a person on a software program while teaching new approaches to life in general is both rare and amazing.
This application has instilled a simple and easy trust in GDI as a company. Trust is the foundation of a positive and healthy work atmosphere. Though everything is remote, I have had the opportunity to speak with a number of GDI colleagues. Through their reassurances and willingness to consistently offer help, those that I have spoken with have given life to GDI’s Value Statement. High company morale is something quite different from believing in what the company stands for. Belief in the company instills the desire to see the company as well as colleagues succeed and grow.
Lastly, the individual is not only recognized but also encouraged to grow emotionally as well as occupationally. New tools were presented in a book titled How Full is Your Bucket. The desire to show business affiliates a new and proactive way of approaching life is far above and beyond most companies. The interest in coaching an individual on how to feel more satisfaction at home as well as “on the job,” is an astonishing notion. It seems that the aforementioned compilation will create harmony.
Needless to say, I am exhilarated to be involved with a company that concerns itself with every aspect of education, a positive work atmosphere, and individual improvement.
